What is BMTC Student Pass?
BMTC Student Pass is a special travel pass issued by the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) for students in Bengaluru. This pass allows students to travel on BMTC buses at a concessional rate or even for free, depending on the scheme. It’s designed to make commuting easier and more affordable for students attending schools, colleges, and universities in the city. The pass can be applied for online through the Seva Sindhu portal or at Bangalore One centers, and it requires verification from the student’s educational institution before issuance.

Types of BMTC Student Pass: BMTC offers several types of student passes to cater to the diverse needs of students in Bengaluru. These include:
Regular Student Pass: This pass is for students attending regular schools, colleges, and universities. It allows unlimited travel on BMTC buses within the city for the academic year.
Route Change Pass: For students who need to change their travel route, BMTC offers a route change pass. This requires the student to visit the pass counter with their current pass and supporting documents.
Damaged Pass Replacement: If a student’s pass is damaged, they can get a replacement by visiting the pass counter with the damaged pass and paying a small fee.
